Collaboration with The Cultural Heritage Agency
The Cultural Heritage Agency (RCE) is part of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science. They are currently working on a project called "Heritage Twentieth Century" for which they benefit from the archives of Royal Talens for their historical and scientific research.
Royal Talens has been around since 1899 and has preserved a lot: colour charts, paint tubes, pastels, recipes, old ledgers with suppliers and customers, raw materials and production, and much more. The Cultural Heritage Agency of the Netherlands makes grateful use of this collection during research into paintings and specific pigments. In addition, the RCE advises Talens on registration and storage of the information and objects. This video was made about the collaboration.
